It all started when Jane Brown, founder of Get It In Your Soul, Inc., woke up at 4 a.m. October of 2005 hearing, "Now's the time."; it was time to finally implement the idea that she had been contemplating for many years.  Brown was looking for a better way to do affirmations when she noticed how items placed on the dashboard reflected off the windshield, she thought, "That would be so cool with my affirmations!".  Brown’s entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness guided her in the steps it would take to turn this simple observation into a successful company.

Through some challenging years in the 1990s, Brown was motivated to rebuild her life on solid Biblical principles and positive affirmations.  By 2005 her collection of affirmations had grown and needed to be shared. After researching the marketplace, she determined that there was a void in the market for Biblically based affirmations written in the voice of the reader.  Thus, Get It In Your Soul® was born.  So much time is spent thinking in our cars driving or as a passenger.  To battle against our habits of doubt, disbelief, and discouragement, Driving Reflections help to transform these bad thought habits into a positive thought-life.  You then take ownership of them by internalizing them and Get It In Your Soul.

Following extensive Scripture research, Brown developed the Driving Reflections® Biblical product line. She chose 12 categories popular for today’s market place that uplift, motivate, and encourage a change from negative thinking habits. Instead of using verbatim Bible verses, Brown paraphrased verses from four popular translations (KJV, NIV, NASB, NLT) into positive personal affirmations expressed from the reader’s point of view.

Just like a preacher will explain the scripture’s context and meaning and give it real-life application, such is the intent of the Biblical messages of Driving Reflections. You are saying back to God what He says you have in His word.

Ephesians 3:20 (in the Variety Pack-Comfort & Assurance) – "Jesus can do immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine! His power is at work in me!"

Since her initial roll out of the Bible based content in March of 2007, Brown has expanded her product line to custom offerings. Marketing and sales directors, speakers, and other industries that require review and/or memorization of key phrases or thoughts can now use the custom Driving Reflections product line model. In January 2008, the company rolled out a new line of inspirational messages for the general gift market. Plans are in the works for a Spanish version.
